Second Saturday Volunteer
As a nonprofit, the Dunwoody Nature Center relies on our community of volunteers to help us keep our park beautiful. We welcome individuals, students, corporations, service organizations, and other groups to help with various projects and special events.
Join us for our next Second Saturday Volunteer day on July 13th, 2024 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
Come spend a rewarding morning at the Dunwoody Nature Center, helping to maintain and beautify our natural spaces. This is a great chance to give back to the community, enjoy the outdoors, and meet like-minded nature enthusiasts.
Details:
- When: Every Second Saturday of the month
- Time: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
- Location: Dunwoody Nature Center, 5343 Roberts Drive, Dunwoody, GA 30338
Activities may include:
- Trail maintenance
- Planting native species
- Removing invasive plants
- General grounds upkeep
All tools and supplies will be provided. Please wear comfortable clothing suitable for outdoor work and closed-toe shoes. Don’t forget to bring a reusable water bottle to stay hydrated!
Whether you’re a regular volunteer or a first-timer, your contribution makes a significant impact. We look forward to seeing you there!
