Butterfly Experience
September 7-8, 2024
It’s our favorite weekend of the year! The Butterfly Experience has been a standard for the Center for over 25 years, providing attendees with the opportunity to view hundreds of native butterflies in our close encounter tents. Activities for the young and young at heart include educational exhibits, crafts, wildlife shows, and live music and entertainment.
The event draws over 3,000 community friends and supporters.

Join us in launching a magical new event that is sure to be an immense success with the families who visit metro Atlanta. The inaugural Fairy Tale Forest Festival will embrace the enchanting woodland atmosphere as we invite families to come together for an unforgettable experience. With activities like creating fairy houses, tree climbing adventures, encounters with beloved fairy tale characters, arts and crafts, and delectable food, this festival promises a whimsical escape for all. We anticipate welcoming 750 attendees into our park, fostering community bonds and unforgettable memories.
