Nancy Longacre
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR (she/her)
Nancy joined the Nature Center in August 2021 as the Executive Director. She has a B.A. in psychology from Rutgers University. Nancy started her career in corporate marketing before transitioning to nonprofit management. She has held leadership positions at several non-profits in Metro Atlanta. Nancy loves spending her free time hiking, traveling, being in nature and enjoying everything Metro Atlanta has to offer with family and friends.

Madhav Dave
DEVELOPMENT officer (He/him)
Madhav began with the Nature Center in 2019 as an intern before moving on to a full time role in development and fundraising. Madhav moved to Atlanta for school in 2014 and graduated from Georgia State University in 2018 with a B.S. in Public Health. In his free time, he loves to stay active, cook, and play with his two dogs, Lucy and Rigby.

Chloe Green
Program MANAGER (SHe/her)
Chloe graduated from the University of Georgia in 2019 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Fisheries and Wildlife. Chloe’s love for wildlife and environmental education brought her to the Dunwoody Nature Center. As Program Manager, Chloe is responsible for coordinating all of the adult programs, the weekday programs, and the Junior Counselor program. In her free time she enjoys reading, drawing, traveling, and spending time with her family and two cats.

Darcy Johnson
Marketing MANAGER (she/her)
Darcy was born and raised in California, and graduated from San Francisco State University with a B.S. in Recreation, Parks, and Tourism. Darcy has worked at the Nature Center since 2018 as an educator, building host, Sunday program coordinator, and Environmental Education Manager before taking on the full time role of Marketing Manager. In her free time, she enjoys camping, making art, and looking for critters in creeks.

Sandy Layton
Development Director (she/her)
As an Atlanta native, Sandy enjoys a passion for her hometown and has been naturally drawn to devoting the last 20 years to environmental work in the nonprofit community. Educated at Georgia State University, she spends her free time with friends hiking out west, tennis, scuba, and travelling anywhere. Interest in the natural world provides a reason to be a forever learner!

Holly Loscavio
Program Director (she/her)
Holly Loscavio has been a part of the nature center as an educator since 1997 and full time since 2015. She loves teaching environmental education to children. Holly believes summer camp is essential to a child’s outdoor education! Holly has a B.S. in Conservation Biology from Brigham Young University (’94). Holly’s hobbies include long distance running, hiking, pollinator gardens, playing the guitar, and spending time with her family.

Abigail Reid
Event sales manager (she/her)
Abigail grew up in Georgia and graduated from the University of West Georgia with a B.S. in Communications, PR, and Marketing. She comes with a background in hospitality, including sales, design, and catering. In her free time, she loves traveling, art, and spending time with friends and family.

Cindy Tibbetts
Bookkeeper (She/her)
Cindy is in charge of finances at the Nature Center. She is an Atlanta native and has a B.A. degree in Accounting from Kennesaw State. She has a passion for water, in keeping it protected and for recreation. A previous Dunwoody resident of 17 years, she currently resides in Alpharetta with her three cats.

Lisha Wedderburn
Program & Community Engagement Manager (She/Her)
Lisha has been with the Dunwoody Nature Center since 2011, working as an educator, building host, and weekend program coordinator, before coming on as a full time manager in Spring 2023. She has a Bachelor of Science with an environmental focus and has taught informal education in nature centers and on trails for most of her career. Lisha enjoys sharing her love of the outdoors and educating everyone about nature around us.
