Secluded in the city, Dunwoody Nature Center is tucked away in the trees just outside of the Atlanta Perimeter Center Business District but close to everything. Our versatile venue is perfect for weddings, corporate events, family reunions, birthday parties, bar/bat mitzvahs, showers, cultural gatherings, and your event. The Venue
North Woods PAvilion
Elegant indoor-outdoor convertible space perched on the hill overlooking the Meadow. Our largest event space, at 1,500 square feet, is complete with a catering station, a two-sided fireplace, and a wrap-around deck.
Spread Out In The Sun
Sun Porch
The Porch is a party in the shade and in the sunshine. Our spacious screened-in porch extends off of the back of the education main building. Surrounded by a wrap-around deck, guests can enjoy the view from above or walk down the connecting steps into the beautiful Meadow.
Open Areas
Meadow
This gorgeous, open area of our park showcases many attractions including Wildcat Creek, multiple gardens, and the stage and historic fireplace. Events here have easy access to the Fern Glade entrance to all of our walking trails as well as to multiple picnic tables and Adirondack chairs. Because the Meadow is the heart of the Dunwoody Nature Center, Meadow rentals may only be confirmed in a package along with both the Porch and the Pavilion.
