Galentine’s Day Paint & Sip
Get ready to unleash your artistic side at our hands-on Galentine’s Day paint-and-sip experience. In this guided workshop, you’ll learn the basics of acrylic pour painting, including color selection, layering techniques, and how different pouring methods create movement and texture on the canvas. No prior art experience is needed.
Each participant will paint two 10×10 inch canvases, giving you the chance to try different color palettes and techniques. All materials are provided, and an instructor will walk you through each step while offering tips along the way. Warning: Pour painting can be unpredictable and a bit messy, so wearing an old shirt or using an apron is recommended.
The workshop lasts one hour and is designed to be social and relaxed—perfect for spending time with friends while creating something fun and unique. Mocktails will also be provided for all participating. You’ll leave with finished artwork.
About the Instructor: Hello! I’m Mandy, a maker and artist. I went to New Mexico State University (NMSU) where I received my BFA in Studio Art. From a young age, I enjoyed making things and the creativity hasn’t stopped. This is why I created The Traveling Art Cart to begin with- it was a chance to build a beloved hobby into a business. I’d love to meet you soon and get you on your way to creating!
