            Beekeepers Club: Special Guest Speaker
Did you hear the BUZZ? We have a special guest speaker for our next Dunwoody Beekeepers Club meeting! This meeting will be free and open to the public.
We are thrilled to announce that Dr. Jacobus de Roode, a professor in Emory’s Department of Biology and director of the Infectious Diseases Across Scales Training Program (IDASTP), will be speaking. His program will cover how honeybees, and other animal species, use medicine in nature to stay healthy. There will be copies of his book, “Doctors by Nature: How Ants, Apes, and Other Animals Heal Themselves,” available for purchase and Dr. de Roode will be available after the event to sign copies. (P.S. If you love bees, you should consider becoming a member of the Dunwoody Beekeepers Club ($35 for the year) and joining our regular weekly meetings! You’ll discover the fascinating world of beekeeping in a welcoming community for apiarists of all experience levels.)
