Adult Clay Class
Bring a little feathered friend to life with clay! In this hands-on class, Lilly Vicens of Tulip Tree Tales (a pottery studio based in Suwanee) will guide you step-by-step in creating your very own little bird. Using stoneware clay and brush-on glazes, you’ll craft a charming, one-of-a-kind bird to take home—or give as a delightful gift for Mother’s Day. Each participant will first watch Lilly’s handbuilding demonstration, then shape, sculpt, and glaze their own winged creation. Your bird will be kiln-fired at Tulip Tree Tales and returned to Dunwoody Nature Center in about two weeks for pickup.
Please plan to arrive at least 10-15 minutes prior to the start time to get settled. No refunds or cancellations after one week prior to the class date. If the class minimum is not met you will receive a full refund.
About the instructor: Lilly Vicens is a ceramic artist inspired by the natural world.
