Get your kids outside and into nature! On Thursdays, homeschoolers in K-5th grades can enjoy outdoor nature and science activities during Backyard Scientists (K/1) and Eco-Rangers (2-5th). During Backyard Scientists and Eco-Rangers, children are encouraged to explore their environment and develop their own relationship with nature, within a safe and nurturing setting. Led by knowledgeable naturalists, your kids will learn plant identification, geology, ecology, and more! Each month has a different theme!

What will my child do at Homeschool Nature Classes?
Children will be engaged in a nature lesson! Topics will range from weather and climate to the life cycle of a butterfly! Children will participate in games, crafts, and experiments all with a focus on science!
Who can attend Homeschool Nature Classes?
This is a drop-off program for children in Kindergarten through 5th grade. Backyard Scientists class will have students K-1st, and Eco-Rangers will have students in 2nd-5th grade.
What does my child need to bring?
Children should come dressed appropriately for the weather, we always recommend bringing a rain jacket just in case! Children should wear closed-toed shoes. Please bring a refillable water bottle, a lunch, and a snack.
What is the educator to student ratio?
We have one educator per 12 students. Our educators are former school teachers or naturalists.
