Join us on the second Saturday of each month from 9–11am. Use the form below to sign up.

On the Second Saturday of each month, we welcome any community members who want to volunteer to join us! All ages are welcome, though children must be accompanied by an adult. Tasks and duties are dependent on the needs of the park, but can include clearing trails, weeding and removing invasive plants, spreading mulch, plantings, and more! You are welcome to come with a group, but requests for specific tasks can not be accommodated. Want to customize your volunteer day? Schedule a private day just for you and your group!

CORPORATE VOLUNTEER GROUPS

Create a custom volunteering experience or day of impact for your team.

Corporate volunteer days at the Dunwoody Nature Center offer teams a hands-on way to make a meaningful impact in our park. Groups work alongside our staff on projects like trail maintenance, invasive plant removal, mulching, plantings, and seasonal restoration needs. We tailor the day to your team’s size and interests, creating a rewarding experience that directly supports our mission. Corporate groups of all sizes are welcome. It’s a great way to build connection and give back!

Do you have opportunities that are ADA accessible?

Yes! We will try to provide volunteer activities that are appropriate for all situations and abilities. Just let us know what you need, and we will do our best to accommodate!

Unfortunately, the park trails are not ADA accessible.

Do you have indoor opportunities?

Sometimes! If you are looking for indoor activities we will try to accommodate, but this will be based on the needs of the Nature Center at the time of the request. We usually keep to a small group of indoor volunteers at one time, so we may be able to make indoor accommodations for select members of your group.
