Sound Bathing
Join us for another session of our very popular Sound Bath at Dunwoody Nature Center! Spend a blissful evening investing in yourself with a soothing candlelit gong sound bath, nestled amongst the trees in the North Woods Pavilion. Led by a certified yoga instructor and sound healer, the event will begin with grounding and centering breath work and guided meditation, followed by a sound bath using the gong, crystal singing bowls, bamboo Koshi wind chimes, an ocean drum, and a crystal Merkabah.
The benefits of a gong sound bath include:
- A profound sense of calm
- Deep, restful sleep
- Reduced feelings of stress, anxiety, depression and tension in the mind and body
- Intense relaxation and activation of the parasympathetic nervous system
- Stronger connection between mind and body
- An opening of blocked energy channels, moving the body from a state of imbalance to balance
