Calling all Scouts! Join us for an in-depth Sustainability Merit Badge Workshop designed to meet key requirements through engaging, real-world activities that bring sustainability concepts to life. Held at the beautiful Dunwoody Nature Center, this workshop provides Scouts with the tools and understanding needed to make lasting environmental impacts at home and in their communities.
Led by experienced educators and merit badge counselors, participants will explore topics such as water and energy conservation, sustainable food systems, waste reduction, and more through group discussion, outdoor exploration, and practical exercises.
Important Prerequisite: Prior to the workshop, Scouts must complete Merit Badge Prerequisites.
This workshop is open to BSA Scouts ages 11–17 and is ideal for those pursuing their merit badges. Participants should bring a refillable water bottle and a packed lunch.
