Step away from the noise of daily life and immerse yourself in a guided mindfulness experience at Dunwoody Nature Center. Join licensed clinical psychologist Dr. Karen Piering Abbott on the third Thursday of each month for a Fresh Eyes Mindful Nature Walk, where nature, gentle movement, and breathwork come together for a deeply restorative practice.
What to Expect:
Guided Mindfulness Walk – Wander through the woods with quiet intention.
Breathwork & Gentle Stretching – Engage in movement to enhance relaxation.
Time for Reflection – Experience both solo and group moments of connection.
Nature as a Reset – Unplug, slow down, and tune in to the rhythm of the earth.
Rain or shine – nature is always ready to welcome you.
What to Bring: Comfortable clothing, appropriate footwear, and a blanket or towel.
