Junior Beekeepers

This amazing program at Dunwoody Nature Center teaches children ages 7 through 14 about what it takes to be a beekeeper!

Our program will include:

• PowerPoint Class
• Smoker Lighting
• Observation Hive Viewing
• Honey Extraction Demo
• Hive Inspection.
• We may add a frame assembly and other projects!

Date: April 27th 2024

Time: 9:30am to 1:30pm 

Ages: 7 through 14. Parents must accompany their children, adults are free of charge.

Cost: $45 per child, adult chaperones are free of charge
