Friday Night Hike

A guided evening hike under the light of the Harvest Super Moon.

Experience the magic of Dunwoody Nature Center after dark as we set out on the trails beneath the glow of the Harvest Moon—the closest full moon to the fall equinox and the first super moon of the year. Guided by one of our naturalists, you’ll enjoy an evening stroll through the forest, learning about the history, legends, and seasonal changes connected to this luminous time of year. The trails come alive in a new way under moonlight, making this a unique and memorable night in nature.

Registration closes September 30th. If you’re interested in attending after the deadline, please email autumn@dunwoodynature.org to check availability. This program requires a minimum number of sign-ups. If the minimum is not met, participants will be contacted and refunds issued within 7–10 days.
