~ Know Before You Go ~

iMPORTANT REMINDERS:

  • Whether you walk, bike or drive to the park, please proceed to the check-in booth in the lower level parking lot at the round about to Check-In and get your wristband
  • Your timed ticket represents your time in the Butterfly Tent. Please arrive before your scheduled time as late entry to the tents will be subject to space availability! Those with ticket times 3pm or later are recommended to come early to enjoy the festival before their time with the butterflies.
  • Bring your smartphone to access our touch-free resources via QR code. All you need is your smart phone camera!
  • To ensure entry to the event, please purchase your ticket on our online platform HERE. Limited tickets will be available at the door.

Dunwoody Nature Center

We share our entrance with the Austin Elementary School main entrance, which has a traffic light. Continue down the driveway, passing the school entrance on your right.

MARTA Bus Routes

Route 150 will take you to DNC, and route 129 comes reasonably close — please see the MARTA Website for schedules and maps.

Parking Notes:

Due to ongoing construction and environmental improvements at the Nature Center, parking in the main parking lot will be EXTREMELY limited. We encourage you to walk, ride public transportation, and bike if possible!

  • Handicap accessible parking will be nearest to the Experience entrance, in the Dunwoody Nature Center parking lot.
  • Rideshare and Guest Drop off/Pick Up Zone will be near the lower level parking area. We highly encourage ridesharing & carpooling!
  • Parking will be available in the adjacent Austin Elementary parking lot all weekend long!
  • Overflow parking will be available at the New Austin Park (the old Austin Elementary) parking lot, just north on Roberts Drive, all weekend. This is a short walk down Roberts Drive from the Dunwoody Nature Center. 

Ticket Price:                      $18 | $15 for Nature Center Members | 3 years and younger are free!

Dates/Times:                   Saturday, September 9, 2023 and Sunday, September 10, 2023
                                           10am-4pm

Time slots last 15 minutes. If you purchase tickets for 3pm or later, we suggest arriving before your time slot to enjoy the rest of the festival!

Food & Drink

Food and drink will be available for purchase all weekend long! Crave the South Food Truck will be onsite, as well as sweet treats from Dip n Dots & Three Tikis Shaved Ice.
