Know Before You Go

Whether you walk, bike or drive to the park, please proceed to the check-in booth in the lower level parking lot near the boardwalk path entryway to check-in and complete the health screening before heading to the North Woods Pavilion for your timed entry.

Health screenings will include a questionnaire and temperature check of each guest via contactless infrared thermometer.

Any guest that either: exhibit symptoms of COVID-19 (cough, fever of 100.4 deg F or higher, shortness of breath, chills, muscle pain, difficulty breathing, headache, sore throat or new loss of taste or smell), have any reason to believe they have COVID-19 or have any reason to believe they have been exposed to COVID-19, will not be permitted into the Butterfly Experience.

All guests ages 10 and older will be required to wear a mask while inside the Butterfly Experience and the Sun Porch where the Native Plant Sale will be held. Children and adult size masks will be for sale at the check-in booth while supplies last.

Bring your smartphone to access our touch-free resources via QR code. All you need is your smart phone camera.

All tickets must be purchased online via our ticketing platform. No tickets will be for sale at the door.

We share our entrance with the Austin Elementary School main entrance. Continue down the driveway, passing the school entrance on your right.

MARTA Bus Routes

Route 150 will take you to DNC, and route 129 comes reasonably close — please see the MARTA Website for schedules and maps.
