Birding lessons offered at the Nature Center will feature information about species identification, the importance of the bird count, basic bird observation. Download the eBird app to log your bird sightings along the way!

All weekend visitors are encouraged to use the 22 acres of Dunwoody Park to do their bird count. There are several prime viewing areas throughout the park including the tree house pavilion, education building,  Wildcat Creek and forested trails. Participants are encouraged to take the information learned home with them to continue their count in their own backyard.

As part of the Nature Center’s mission to educate children, families, and adults of all ages about the natural world and our place in it, this event will be FREE and open to the public.
