Free First Saturdays

August 3, 2019

11:00 AM- 12:00 PM

Learn all about the intricate and amazing life cycle of a butterfly with “A Butterfly Tale” in the meadow. See live specimens of eggs, caterpillars and chrysalises up close. Enjoy a puppet show to see how a butterfly grows from just a tiny egg. A few lucky volunteers may even have the chance to “transform” themselves!

This event will be held outside in the meadow/stage area of the park. No RSVP or registration. First come, first serve. Family friendly. No dogs, please.

This event will be cancelled in case of rain or thunderstorms. Please visit our Facebook event page for live updates.

Want more butterflies? Purchase tickets here to our annual Butterfly Festival on August 17th.
