Fire

January 4

1:00-2:00pm

With the guidance of DNC educators, learn how to make fire a few different ways! Use bow drills to create sparks like the Native Americans, practice with strikers and learn how to make a modern day campfire in our historic fireplace (including safety tips!). Reward your efforts with a toasted marshmallow for a s’more to wrap up the hour. Open to all ages. Children must be accompanied by an adult. This program is free thanks to sponsorship from the City of Dunwoody. Limited to 75 participants. RSVP here.

Here are the themes for 2020. Check back each month for more information. All programs are free, family-friendly and open to the public. Some programs may require pre-registration and have capacity limits.
