Winter Wilderness Camp

Join us for a fun 3 days of exploring the park during the beginning of winter! The leaves are off the trees and the park has a different look and feel.
The Dunwoody Nature Center features 22 acres and three distinct habitats that allow campers to explore nature as it was meant to be. By combining play and learning through themed activities, children are able to grow and develop at their own pace, connect with nature, and better understand their place in the natural world.
Join us for our winter wilderness camp where your camper will learn some basic outdoor skills. Simple knot tying, how to choose a campsite and set up a tent, campfire set up and smores, hiking basics and safety, and the Leave No Trace Principles for kids will be some of the topics covered as well as lots of nature games and fun. Sign up a la carte for one, two or three days of camp.
