Reptiles & Amphibians Merit Badge Workshop

Reptiles and amphibians aren’t as gross and scary as you may think! The Reptiles and Amphibians Merit Badge Workshop will allow you to finish nearly all requirements to earn this badge in just one day! Learn how to ID different reptiles, distinguish between venomous & nonvenomous, debunk common myths about snakes & frogs, and more. Scouts will explore the Dunwoody Nature Center throughout this day of interactive learning!
Some prerequisites are required in order to finish all badge requirements in one day. Prerequisites can be viewed HERE. This Merit Badge requires an observation period of one-three months. If you cannot complete this before the workshop, you will be required to return to DNC at a later date to have your blue card signed.
Reptiles & Amphibians Merit Badge workshop will take place on August 27, 2022 from 9:00AM-1:00PM. Your scout may be dismissed between 1 and 2pm depending on interview times. Please bring a lunch and dress for the weather.
