Plein Air Art Class

Sharon Weiss, award-winning artist and longtime Spruill Arts instructor, will be leading a plein air sketching session at the Dunwoody Nature Center on Sunday, October 29th 2023 from 1 to 4PM.
What do I bring? Bring a chair, pad of paper no larger than 9″ x 12″ and your choice of graphite pencil, watercolor pencil, ink pen, or a travel sized watercolor set. Learn about composition, light, color and pattern as you have fun exploring a natural setting.
This class is for ages 14 and up.
$50 for non-members/$40 for members with code FORLIFE.
In case of inclement weather, this class will take place in the screened-in porch. Sharon will provide DNC reference photos if the class takes place indoors. Prior to registering please make sure the liability waiver has been completed.

Participant Cancellation Policy: Any participants that cancel 7 or more days prior to class will be refunded 93% to account for processing fees. Example: If your class is on a Saturday, you must cancel by the prior Saturday at midnight. Participants can also request to switch to another class date 7 or more days prior to the class registered for. To cancel or switch, participants must send an email to chloe@dunwoodynature.org and receive back a confirmation of cancellation or switching. No refunds are given if you cancel less than 7 days prior to class. This class requires a minimum of 4 students. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.
