Paint Recycling

Drop off your old paint cans here at the Dunwoody Nature Center for recycling. Presented by the Dunwoody Nature Center and the City of Dunwoody’s Sustainability Committee.
Nominal fee of $2/can
Drop-off will follow onsite safety instructions to reduce contact and maintain social responsibility.
Please keep in mind this is a paint collection, not a household hazardous waste collection. We will accept all latex and oil based paints in any size container, including spray cans. Paint must be in sealed container that doesn’t leak.
Here’s a general rule for collections:
YES: Behr, Valspar, Kilz, Minwax, Thompson Wood Sealer, Helmsman, Polyurethane, spray paint.
NO: Leaking containers, “Professional Use Only”, tank/pipe coating, marine coating, lacquer, lacquer thinner, roof tar, two part epoxy, anything that says catalyst, PART A or PART B, 55 gallon drums, lead paint, paint with mercury, leaking containers, gasoline, cleaners, or chemicals.
