Great Pollinator Census Program

Join us at the Dunwoody Nature Center and take part in the Great Pollinator Census! The Great Southeast Pollinator Census is a citizen science project created by the University of Georgia. This project is designed for everyone to participate and make a difference for pollinator conservation!

About: Our educators and naturalists will be here to guide you as you observe and record pollinators in this fun and interactive program! Learn how to identify different pollinators and record them on an observation sheet. Learn how you can be a citizen scientist and upload your pollinator count into the online database.

Date: Saturday, August 18th 2023

Time: 10AM – 11:30AM…Drop in at any time!

Cost: This event is FREE for the whole community!

What is citizen science? Citizen science is when members of the public take part in scientific research by designing experiments or collecting data!

No pre-registration is required for this program, all are welcome!
