Gifts of the Trees: Make and Take Herbal Remedy and Plant Walk

Come and learn the healing qualities of six of our local trees and enjoy a guided walk of our beautiful Nature Center. We will learn how to identify beneficial trees, safely harvest from trees without causing damage, and make you very own herbal remedy to bring home with you!

Come learn some of the traditional healing qualities of the natural world alongside Herbalist and Naturalist Educator, Susan Edwards, at Dunwoody Nature Center. Susan enjoys giving back to the land and community that supported her on her journey as she explored and deeply connected with these woods of DNC as a child. These wild places are sanctuaries and are truly vital to our health and our connection with the natural world, our home.

This workshop will take place outdoors, on our screened porch and out in the woods. Masks are required for all participants and socially distancing will be strictly enforced. Register today to secure spot, spaces will be limited!
