No two classes are alike with Katie, learn about what is fresh in the forest and try some tasty teas! Join Katie Hendrickson to learn the identification and healing benefits of common plants found in the garden. You will be creating and tasting multiple delicious fresh garden teas using wild flowers, herbs, and spices; including local honey from the DNC hives. This entertaining workshop will include how to use edible flowers, drying herbs, and serving tea in the tradition of a friendship tea party.
Naturalist Katie Hendrickson connects all ages to Nature through plants, flowers, herbs and honey. With 30+ years experience as a Master Gardener, Beekeeper, Herbalist, and Heritage Cooking Instructor; Katie has been leading workshops, classes, and trainings to preserve the magic of native plants and heirloom gardening practices.
This class will take place in the main room/screened-in Sun Porch and will go on rain or shine. No refunds.
