Friday, March 24 @ 8 p.m. | Join us for a fun and informative hike through the woods—at night! This Friday Night Hike will focus on stars and astronomy. Local astronomy enthusiast and NASA Solar System Ambassador Thomas Dworschak will be here at the Nature Center teaching you all about NASA’s explorations and discoveries! Take a peak at the night sky through a telescope and see how many constellations you can spot. Our knowledgeable educators will lead you through the trails of Dunwoody Nature Center, answering your questions and leading you through fun facts and activities. Come find out more! This event is fun for children and adults alike. Bring a flashlight!
Registration required as spaces are limited. $5 per person for nonmembers/FREE for members with code NIGHTHIKE21. Please purchase a ticket for each member in your party.
Each hike will last about 20-30 minutes. The rest of your time may be spent enjoying Tom’s presentation, the campfire, and the park after dark.
