Free First Saturday – Mushrooms

The sticky weather isn’t a favorite of humans…but it is for mushrooms! The hot, humid weather is perfect for finding mushrooms and fungi of all kinds. Join us to learn the basics of mushroom hunting, the weird ways they grow, and a few of the different species you may find here at DNC. This hour long free program will include a hike and activity.

This program will include a walk over uneven terrain; strollers and walkers are not recommended. We do not require masks while outdoors; please monitor your own health and do not attend if you are exhibiting any symptoms of Covid-19.
