Free First Saturday – Building Campfires

This month’s Free First Saturday is all about fire! During this hour long, family friendly program, we will learn all about fire and how humans have used it throughout history. Participants will get the chance to try out some modern and traditional fire building methods! Whether you have a magnifying glass, flint, or just a stick and some string, we will teach you different methods of building a warm campfire. Children and families will learn how and where to use fire safely, and how to make your very own fire starter using household materials.

This program is free and fun for all ages! Registration required as spaces are limited.
