Dunwoody Beekeeping Club Holiday Craft Fair
December 2, 2021 @ 6:30 pm - 9:00 pm
Members and Friends: Come celebrate the season and do a little holiday shopping with local beekeepers at the Dunwoody Nature Center in the Pavilion. We hope to see you there!
Carter Parsons of Milton Honey Farm will be making her luscious Lotion Bars. They are fantastic for dry winter skin and make great gifts. Carter makes small batch raw, local honey and luxury skincare products are made on her farm with her husband, Ed.
Florence Love will be sharing her process for Plantain Salve. It is good for stinging, itching, irritation and inflammation of the skin – perfect for insect stings and mosquito bites. Florence will also offer Propolis Tincture for sampling. Bees use propolis to keep their colony healthy; humans use propolis to help support their body’s natural defenses.
Mike Hodges will be offering samples of his homemade meads. What he brings will be a surprise! He will bring at least three different bottles for tasting… while they last! Must be 21+ to sample.
Cindy Hodges will be making lip balm, made with Dunwoody beeswax. Lip balm is perfect for dry chapped lips.
Christine Bupp will offer honey samples from various locations, including Spain!
Visitors are welcome, but masks are required for all.
Of course, we will encourage you to join the club, too!
