Dunwoody Beekeeping Club

September 2 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

$35

The Dunwoody Beekeeping Club is a monthly meeting on the first Thursday of each month.

Each monthly meeting will feature a program, followed by a question and answer session with the ability to meet and learn from other local beekeepers.  Meetings are open to the public and anyone who already has hives, is interested in getting hives, or just wants to learn more about bees, is welcome to attend.

This month’s meeting features a truly special guest speaker: Virginia Webb Mountain Honey! Master Beekeeper, Russian Bee Breeder, and world renowned honey show winner. She is an expert on all things honey and wax! She will be speaking on “Everything Beeswax.”

We will also be hosting our own local Honey Show with categories including — Extracted Honey, Taste, Arts and Crafts, and Best in Show. There will be prizes for winners in each category! Only current members are eligible to enter and you may only submit products from your own personal hives.

Join the club to get notices for all meetings/events and to offset the costs for great speakers. Club membership is $35/year.

This is a hybrid in person/Zoom meeting. In person meeting will take place in the Pavilion at the Dunwoody Nature Center. For Zoom login info, please contact Cindy Hodges at HodgesHoney@gmail.com.  Masks are required while inside the
