Creating A Sanctuary for Birds with Native Plants | OWLS Adult Programming, Morning Session

In this class we will explore how providing native plants and controlling exotic species can create critical habitat and safe-havens for birds and other wildlife. Come learn how native plants provide vital resources for birds, from providing food and shelter sources to sustaining the insect populations birds rely on to feed themselves and their young.

About OWLS Adult Programming:

OWLS is a NEW adult programming series that will focus on nature, health, and wellness. To ensure a socially safe environment, classes will be held outdoors on the grounds of the Nature Center.
The inaugural series will take place on Sept 18, Sept, 25, Oct 2, and Oct 16.
  • The Morning Session: Mother Nature and Me will have classes from 10:00am-12:00pm
  • The Afternoon Session: Healthy Mind: Healthy Body will have classes from 1:00pm-3:00pm
