Birding for Beginners

If you are interested in nature and learning more about wildlife, birding is a great skill and fun hobby! The Dunwoody Nature Center is a hotspot for birds of many species and varieties. Join us for a stroll through the Nature Center to gain valuable tips and strategies for spotting different birds and learning to identify them. Master Birder Rose Guerra will guide you through the trails and help you learn all the basics necessary to build a strong foundation in birding.
This program is for ages 13 and up. Non-beginners welcome! Some terrain may be rocky and/or uneven. Some binoculars will be available to borrow.
Registration is required as spaces are limited. It is FREE for Dunwoody Nature Center members with code wildlife21|$10 for nonmembers.
