Evening and Overnight Programs

Camp in Dunwoody Park and learn the basics of camping. Learn outdoor and fire safety, how to start a fire, how to pitch a tent, and take a night hike to explore the park after dark. Don’t have a tent? Take advantage of our partnership with REI to rent one for the evening.

Plan an evening or overnight trip to Dunwoody Nature Center. Sit back and relax in nature as a DNC educator leads your group on a fun and educational program.

  • explore wetlands, trails and Wildcat Creek throughout 22 acres of Dunwoody Park
  • enjoy a campfire, songs and games
  • roast marshmallows and make s’mores
  • learn camping skills with one of our experienced overnight educators.

Evening and overnight options available – the educational program lasts 2.5 hours.

Call the Nature Center’s Program Office at 770-394-3322 or email us at info@dunwoodynature.org to schedule your event.
