Animals use all five of their senses to survive in the wild. Through games and hikes, students will turn into animals to better understand how they use these senses to survive. Meets GSE SKP1, SKL1, SKL2.

We Dig Dirt
60 minutes
Is all soil the same? By exploring the different habitats of Dunwoody Park, students will use their senses and powers of observation to understand the different textures, smells, colors and particle size of dirt. Students will also examine rocks and minerals found in nature and organize them by size, weight, and appearance.
