Who We AreDNC

The Dunwoody Nature Center was established in 1990 to preserve and manage the natural environment and related facilities of Dunwoody Park and to foster the enjoyment and appreciation of nature through environmental education and outreach programs.

Dunwoody Park features woodland and creekside trails; wetlands boardwalk; display gardens; picnic meadow; playhouse; treehouse learning pavilion; and shaded playground.

Featured Fun and Learning

Concert in the Park: July 31, 6-8 pm - Paul Green School of Rock Show Band . . . Members FREE . . . General Public $5 per person 3 years and older. Pay cash at the gate or order tickets online for willcall.

Fall Classes Now Registering!

natureclassSeasonal Nature Class ... Season tickets or week-by-week registration available for Mommy & Me & Nature Make Three and Preschool Park Patrol.

Homeschoolers ... Join the Club! The Show-And-Tell Club for Grades K-2 (equivalent) and All About Club for Grades 3-5 (equivalent) meet the first Wednesday of each month.

Spend a Friday Night with Your Honey(bees) ... Our November Adult Program is a sweet introduction to the world of bees.

Saturday, August 21, 10 am - 4 pm. DNC brings together all the requirements for this merit badge.

 

 

 

owlFall Family Fun

Sing with the frogs, climb a tree, pet a snake, carve a pumpkin, spend an evening with owls, and make gifts for the earth. We have an amazing array of family events scheduled in the coming months!
