By sending in your registration, you acknowledge and accept the following:

1) I understand that neither the Dunwoody Nature Center, Inc. nor DeKalb County provide insurance to cover any injury sustained while participating in an activity organized by DNC in Dunwoody Park. and

2) I grant DNC the right to take and utilize photographs of me and/or my child or group participating in an activity for the purpose of promotion and advertising.

 FIELD TRIPS

(Skip to next section for Overnight Fees)

  • A non-refundable PREPAID deposit of $50.00 is required for each field trip scheduled. We must receive your deposit before we will schedule your field trip.
  • Weekend surcharge: $30 for any field trip scheduled outside our normal Monday-Friday operating hours.
  • The non-refundable deposit is applied directly to the total program fee; the remainder of the payment may be paid the day of the scheduled program or you may choose to include the full payment with your deposit.
  • Cancellations: If for some reason you must cancel your program, please inform us ASAP. Your deposit will not be refunded, but it will be kept on file for you to use on a future program.

Cub Scouts:

  • Tiger Scouts 1 hour $4/scout $50/pack
  • Wolf Scouts 1 hour $6/scout $50/pack
  • Bear Scouts 1 hour $6/scout $50/pack
  • Webelo Scouts 2 hours $8/scout $50/pack
  • Weekend program surcharge $30

Boy Scouts:

  • Environmental Science Merit Badge Clinic: $25 per Scout
  • Soil & Water Conservation Merit Badge Clinic: $25 per Scout
  • Other clinics - see description

Girl Scouts:

  • Daisy Scouts 1 hour $4/scout $50/troop
  • Brownies 1 hour $6/scout $50/troop
  • Junior Girl Scouts 2 hours $8/scout $50/troop
  • Weekend program surcharge $30
  • Tree Climbing Clinic $40/scout

Miscellaneous:

  • I-Spy Packs all day rental $10/day with valid credit card
  • Chaperones/Leaders always attend FREE

 OVERNIGHT FEES

A non-refundable PREPAID deposit of $200 for overnight programs or $150 for evening programs is required to reserve your date & time. The balance, based on the total number of participants if that exceeds the deposit, will be collected the day of the program.

 OVERNIGHT MONEY MATTERS:

  • Overnight Programs - $25/child (members) and $35/child (non-members)
  • Evening Programs - $15/child (members) and $20/child (non-members)
  • $200 minimum fee/deposit required for an overnight program.
  • $150 minimum fee/deposit required for an evening program.
  • For unavoidable cancellations, the deposit may be applied as credit for your next overnight.
  • In case of severe weather, the program may be postponed or cancelled.
  • There must be one adult present for every six children. (There are no adult fees.)
  • We must receive your deposit before we will schedule your field trip or event.
