Evening and Overnight Programs

Come to  Dunwoody Park and learn the basics of camping: outdoor and fire safety, how to start a fire and how to pitch a tent. Take a night hike to explore the park after dark. Don’t have a tent? Take advantage of our partnership with REI to rent one for the evening.

Plan an evening or overnight trip to Dunwoody Nature Center. Sit back and relax in nature as a DNC educator leads your group on a fun and educational program.

  • Explore wetlands, trails and Wildcat Creek throughout 22 acres of Dunwoody Park.
  • Enjoy a campfire, songs and games.
  • Roast marshmallows and make s’mores.
  • Learn camping skills with one of our experienced overnight educators.
