Leadership in Training and Environmental Stewardship (LITES)

Accepting applications for the 2018 LITES class June 18-21, 2018

Deadline for applications May 1, 2018

The Nature Center is excited to offer a Leadership-in-Training program for rising 10th-12th grade high school students.  An enhancement of current leadership training curriculum, the Nature Center program will also serve to increase student knowledge and understanding of environmental issues and nature based problem solving. The program will be held at Island Ford Park, located at 8850 Roberts Drive in Sandy Springs. The workshop will include a river float on the Chattahoochee River! The goal of the program is to teach young leaders how to use their natural skills as leaders to define particular problems, identify available resources, and develop strategies with environmentally focused solutions. The cost for the week is $100.
